Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division continues its expansion of self-serve kiosks around the State with the addition of kiosks in the Glendale City and Pima County courthouses. ServiceArizona kiosks are already available in the El Mirage, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Surprise City Courts, in addition to more than 20 locations within MVD offices around the State.
In addition to providing Arizonans with more locations to complete their transactions, the kiosks provide a place for people attending to court business to also deal with related MVD issues, without having to make additional trips.
The ServiceArizona kiosks can be used for many routine services (which are also available on the ServiceArizona.com website), such as: requesting a duplicate license or ID, address/email change, some (but not all) license reinstatements, getting a copy of your Arizona Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), registration renewal, insurance verification, voter registration, and more. Certain kiosks (including the 2 newest) offer expanded services, such as printing vehicle registrations or license plate tags.
While the fees are slightly higher, I can personally testify to the ease and convenience – recently I was able to get a new license within 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon, and a family member whom I assisted with purchasing a used vehicle was able to get it registered, also on a Saturday, in even less time.
